How do I delete a room?
To delete a room click on the room name to the left of the rooms
timeline in Daily View. The name of the room will turn blue when
you move the mouse pointer over it. You can then click the delete
button on the form that appears.
Can I delete a client?
No. This is against the ethos of VenueBooker as it would delete
all bookings associated with the client, including past bookings.
If you have just added a client with no bookings and wish to remove
then we recommend changing the name of the client, either to the
next name you add to VenueBooker or to a recognisable entry like:
Deleted BadmintonClub
I want to set a number of attendees in a booking but I am restricted
at a certain number. What's wrong?
You need to change the capacity of the room to a higher value
(if applicable). You can do this by clicking on the room name
to the left of the rooms timeline and then increasing the capacity
number. Then click modify and click refresh when back in daily
view. You will now be able to create a booking with more attendees.
I want to use a logo in my invoices. How can I?
You need to create a logo and save it as complogo.bmp in the
same directory as the VenueBooker database (typically c:\program
files\venuebooker\database). It will then be present in all invoices.
How do I add a new user?
Open the VenueBooker administration program VBadmin.exe and click
the Add User button. Fill in all reuested details> You can
then go the permissions tab and set access rights for that user.
Usernames default to Forename Inital of Surname, so Joe Bloggs
username would be JoeB.
Why after adding a group filter do I not see it in the filter
list?
Because after adding a group filter and returning to the Daily
View you need to press the refresh button before the new filter
will be displayed. Press Refresh and you will be able to apply
the filter.
Why after changing the capacity of a room does it not change
how many attendees I can add to a booking?
Because after changing the capacity of a room and returning to
the Daily View you need to press the refresh button before the
change will be enforced. Press Refresh and you will be see any
changes made.
Can I charge people in VenueBooker for equipment used?
Currently not, You will need to build this in to the cost of
the booking. A future upgrade will be released to address this.
